a VERY long day!

On the 11th our plan was to go into Vegas and go to the Shark Reef, eat lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe, then come home! SSOOO didn't happen that way!

We were on our way to Vegas, just past the speedway when our back right tire blew! I was SSOOO scared because it was so loud and there were pieces flying everywhere! A piece of rubber even hit the side view mirror and it went flying! Luckily Chris was driving and calmly put the car in neutral and slowly got to the side of the road. So my car was pretty tore up but everything fixable. After Chris put the spare on we drove really slow to Pilot and topped off the gas tank then headed to discount tire. Luckily they had all the tires and rims that we wanted in stock so we walked down the block and grabbed lunch. It only took them about 1 hr 45mins to get it all done.. So we were super excited and headed to the Shark Reef. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the fish, but when we were done Davis really wanted to go somewhere that he could play games. So we decided we would head to Chuckee Cheese. We got out to our car and started loading the kids when we noticed one of our tires was flat and you could just hear the air pouring out! We were furious! Chris called discount tire and they said they could send a tow truck, but we had 3 adults and 3 babies.. I'm pretty sure there's not room in a tow truck! So once again we drove really slow to a gas station to put just enough air to get us to the nearest discount tire.. Well of course the one that we stop at, the air machine isn't working. So driving slow again we go to another gas station, put air in then head to discount tire. They immediately starting taking the wheels off to see why our tires were going flat and found that they put the wrong thing in for our tire monitoring system (I guess there's a little thing that goes in the stem and it was just letting all the air out). So after about another hour we headed to Chuckee Cheese! They kids had TONS of fun and didn't want to leave, but by this time it was like 7:30 PM. Our last stop for the night was babiesrus to get a better car seat for Davis then we were on our way home! So what was supposed to be like a 3 hour trip was ALL day! The kids were really good through it all and slept really good that night!

Catching up!

A few weekends ago my sister-in-law called me and invited me and the kids to come up to Cedar while chris stayed home and worked! I was glad to get out of the house and enjoy a little cooler weather! April's husband and 4 boys are really into horses and all that stuff so Davis gets into it! We went to a little buckaroo rodeo and Davis was super stoked to do the muttin bustin! He was such a stud and stayed on the sheep pretty well! Davis standing with Aunt April and Uncle Burke waiting to ride!

Lately......

These last couple weeks I haven't had much time to just sit around on the computer so it's been a while! Our biggest project lately has been getting my moms house ready so she can close and move in in about 2 weeks! It's a HUD home and she got a KILLER deal ($60,000!!). We are so happy for her to get into her own nice place. Oh and by the way... if you ever need a realtor, Clea Whitney is the woman to call! She works SSOOO hard and has helped so much!

The other little thing occupying our time is our 3 crazy fun kids! Christopher is just getting huge and has been teething lately. He's still a really good boy, just a little bit fussy! Allie is turning into a little princess! She's actually a really good combination of girly girl and tomboy! The other day she was in a princess dress playing with a tractor! Our big boy Davis is just talking up a storm and we REALLY have to be careful what we say in front of him because he picks up on everything we say and will eventually repeat it! He is also REALLY into spiderman lately. Aunt Noni gave him a black spiderman costume and he wears it every single day.. I have to MAKE him change when we're gonna leave the house! I know a lot of people think we're crazy because our kids are so close in age, but we love it and wouldn't have it any other way!

Chris is still on the motorcycles in Vegas. He absolutely loves it, just not the heat so much! He's on graveyard so it's a little better than any other shift.

So now... AMY MARSHALL..... I can't wait to see you this weekend!!!

Allie the tease!!

So our little Allie is a BIG tease (gets it from daddy!). Every night when we put the kids to bed they always want to take turns and tell stories. The other night we were telling our stories and it was Allie's turn and here's how it went:

Allie: Once upon a time there was a little girl and a little Davis

Davis: (shouting/whining) I'm not little

Allie: Once upon a time there was.... A LITTLE DAVIS

Davis: (a little more mad this time) Allie, I'M NOT LITTLE!!!

Allie: (grinning from ear to ear) Once upon a time there was A LITTLE DAVIS

We had to step in after that one because it was really making Davis upset! That story may not be very funny to anyone but us, but since this is like our journal/scrapbook I thought I better write it down (or type it I guess)!!! Allie has quite the personality... she's a funny little girl and loves to pester Davis!!!

5 months!!!

My little baby Christopher is 5 months!! Super Crazy!! He his such a good boy!! He loves to swing in his swing, roll around (back to front and front to back), play with brother and sister, laugh and chew on EVERYTHING!!! He also loves to sleep in just a diaper, kinda weird but he actually sleeps better that way! Today we took him to get his 4 month shots (slackers I know!) and here are his stats! He's in the 75% for his weight, 90% for height and 75% for his head size! Just a big boy all around!! We have been SSOOO blessed to have healthy, happy babies!!!

We also took Allie to get her 2 year shots and her stats are: 25% for weight, and 75% for height!

YAY!!! Vacation!!

Chris is from Idaho so every year we like to go up and spend at least 1 week camping, fishing, enjoying the nice weather and visiting his Dad and best friend Brandon. We headed up on the 29th and Chris had just gotten off from working graveyard so I drove the whole way! The kids did really good and didn't complain too much!

After this boating trip we thought we lost our camera so the camping and fishing pictures are on a disposable camera that we need to get developed! It was so nice to be up there in the nice weather! We had a lot of fun. Davis was SSOO excited to go camping and fishing and those pics will be up as soon as we get is developed (so old school!)!!

Allie's 2nd birthday!

I am really behind on my blogging so there are going to be a lot of new posts! On June 22nd was Allie's birthday so we had a little get together. It was Tara's (Nadja's girl) birthday on the 24th and my Mom's on the 25th so we had a combined party. I made the cake and I thought it turned out pretty cute!
