Broken bone!
On Sunday the kids were out playing on the trampoline. Davis came in crying a little and kept saying he was hurting. We just kinda blew it off for a minute until he lifted up his arm and we saw the wave in it! We got my "Indian daughter" over to watch the kids and we ran Davis to the emergency room! He handled it all like a

This pretty much sums up Davis' kindergarten year! He had Mrs. Cameron and really liked her. Davis really LOVES to learn. He is so shy and sweet… he makes me smile!
For First grade Davis started out the year with Mrs. Cameron again but because the numbers were low they had to get rid of a teacher and move Mrs. Cameron back to kindergarten. My heart was broken when I had to tell him. Like I said, he's very shy and to have to move classrooms, change teachers and join a new group of kids, it was a little scary! But he got put into Mrs. Eide's class and knew a few kids in their so it ended up being awesome! *side note* On the 2nd day of school I got a call from the nurses office saying that Davis fell on the monkey bars and used his arm to soften the fall and they were pretty sure it was fractured, just by the way he was acting. I ended up having to take him to the hospital in Mesquite because the quick care here couldn't do x-rays at the time. Ended up being just a very small fracture and a lot of swelling. He was back at school the next day with his cast thingy and sling!
Now to some more current stuff. Davis is in Mrs. Buchanan's class and absolutely loves her! She's been gone since like 4 weeks after school started and just returned today. He was super excited when he got home and told me that today was the best! Davis played soccer and football this year. In soccer he was an awesome goalie and defender. In football he was just really cute! Chris and his brother coached the team so that was fun for him. When I asked Davis if he wanted to play basketball he said no, I was super excited!!

Kailee's 8 month
Crazyness....
I am very behind on my blogging because it has been a very crazy month! First off my sis-in-law had their baby girl on March 12th, which we were totally excited about, but then on March 17th we got a call from Carolyn saying that my SIL was in the hospital. At first they thought the complications were from pieces of the placenta being left in her uterus. All we knew was that she was in septic shock and not doing well. The next morning Chris talked to his brother and was told that she was going in for an emergency hysterectomy and they were going to keep her asleep for maybe up to 3 days. We were freaking out! It was so hard to be here and feel so helpless!
That night Chris talked to his brother again and he said that her vitals were looking a lot better so they were maybe going to try and wake her up the next morning, very good news! Then we got a call that she was awake and doing pretty well, but I still wanted to be able to help in some sort of way so I got the car loaded and drove up on Sunday morning, just me and 4 kids, yeah I said a lot of prayers on that drive! Anyway, the complications actually ended up being from her uterus not closing up and strep A going in there and killed it. I was glad I got to watch my niece and nephew for a couple days and let her sisters have a little break. My kids love playing with them anyway so it worked out perfect! Well kinda, all my kids got sick and Anton stuck beans in his ears and had to go to the doctor to get them out, but other than all that, perfect!
We are just soo glad that everyone is ok. Family is the best!

Some thoughts!!
Lately I have been going running and it gives me time to think about anything I want to think about, for like 45 minutes!! Most of my thoughts have just been about how much I love being a mom and how helpful my husband is! I have always felt like I wasn't given any "talents", I'm not really good at anything, I can't sing, I can't dance, I'm not creative, I'm not a "social butterfly", but the one thing I have felt successful in, is being a mother. My kids definitely have their moments, but they are some pretty dang good kids. We get comments all the time from random people about how well they behave. My kids are truly a gift and I love them like crazy!
Now Chris is one AWESOME husband and Daddy! He is always willing to stay at home with the kids while I do my own thing. I love that about him. He is very much the kids' hero! After Chris' work week is over, all they want to do is play and wrestle with daddy and he totally loves it! A lot of people tell us we're crazy for having 4 kids in 4 years, but when you have a VERY helpful husband and amazing kids, there's nothing crazy about it!
My husband is my best friend...
