Ma's broken leg

On Monday the 12th my mom broke her leg! She was walking down the ramp and stepped wrong on her leg and it snapped. She called for me and I ran out to see what was going on and found her laying on her back saying that her foot was just dangling there. So I called 911 and got looking at her leg and could see a huge lump and blood. At first I thought the blood must have been a scratch from the fall, but no, looked harder and it was her bone! After she got to the hospital and they did an x-ray they found that she had broken both bones about 5 inches above her ankle. So they got her into surgery that night and put a metal rod in. She was in a lot of pain but is doing a little better now. She's been in rehab learning how to get in and out of bed and on and off the toilet because she'll have to be in a wheel chair for 3 months.

I really wish that I would have thought to take a picture of her leg before the ambulance took her because it was actually kind of a crazy site! I will post pictures of her huge cast tomorrow because that's when she will be coming home!

Goodbye Tonsils and adenoids!!!

On July 7th both Allie and Davis got their tonsil and adenoids removed! Allie needed hers out because her adenoids were blocking 60% of her nasal passage way and her tonsils were enlarged, on a scale of 1-4, 4 being them touching, hers were a 3+. So she had sleep apnea. Davis needed his out because he got strep throat A LOT!! Their surgeries went great and all the nurses and the doctor said that they were the best kids that they've ever taken the tonsils out! They even said that Chris and I deserve an award for them being so good!!

Allie was pretty perky right after surgery. She thought it was pretty funny to hide her face in the puke bucket (don't worry she hadn't puked in it!)!!

Davis was pretty out of it for a while and he couldn't keep anything down. Daddy was "eating" a plate to get Davis to laugh!

They are still recovering and can't eat hard foods. It's been kinda rough trying to find things for them to eat because they're not big sugar eaters so they got sick of the pudding, jello and ice cream pretty fast.

4th of July

This year for the 4th of July (or I guess it was actually the 3rd!) we had to stay here because I'm too far along to go anywhere! Usually we like to go up to Idaho because you can actually stand to be outside there!! We Started off the morning by going up to the fair grounds for the candy drop, which they ended up not even doing. They just threw candy all over the ground then let the kids run in a grab what they could. It was actaully pretty lame so we went home and just like almost every other day, we went swimming!

After swimming and naps we went over to Andrea and Danny's for some yummy food and we let the kids wack the pinata because we forgot to do it at Allie's birthday party.

After the pinata we hurried home so we could watch the UFC fight!
After the main fight we took the kids outside (minus Kissy, he was already in bed!) and let them help set off some fire works!

3 years old!

Happy Birthday Allie Nallie! On June 22nd our little Princess turned 3! She has just grown up so much in the last 6 months and is a good little girl!
I felt really bad that I didn't make her a cute cake, like I try to do for all the kids birthdays, but I just didn't have the energy! She didn't mind though!

She got a Strawberry Shortcake baby and some lip gloss! She's such a girl!

Almost 35 weeks pregnant and 3D ultrasound

So I am almost 35 weeks pregnant and anxious to meet our little girl! When I was 33 weeks we went and got a 3D ultrasound and loved getting a sneak peak of her! According to the ultrasound she has hair (YAY!!) and is getting chuncky cheeks!
When I had my 20 week ultrasound they discovered that I have what they call marginal insertion. Which is basically that the cord is inserted into the side of the placenta instead of the middle. I have had a couple ultrasounds since then to track her growth and she has been growing fine she will just probably be 6 lbs at the most. As long as she's healthy I really don't care how much she weighs! At my last appointment she was measuring a little small on the ultrasound, but my belly was measuring 3 weeks small!

So I've always heard that with every pregnancy you get more and more uncomfortable.. and I have to say that it's true! I can't wait to get her here and just hold and kiss her though! Right now we are looking at August 2nd to be induced (unless my body actually decides to do it on it's own, which I really doubt!). She still doesn't have a name, we don't even have any ideas!

Father's Day.

For Father's Day we got Chris some Skull Candy headphones because that's what he wanted!!

I could go on and on about what an amazing Daddy and Husband that Chris is, but I will just say that he truly is great to me and the kids. He'll change diapers, do the dishes and wash the clothes but most importantly he loves us. Even when I'm pregnant, fat and cranky he still loves me. Even when the kids are tired and whine he still loves them. I am so lucky to have married such an amazing person!

*don't mind my naked kids!*

A trip to Bolden Area Command

A couple weeks ago I had a doctors appointment on a Friday and decided that I wanted to do some shopping while we were there. So my mom came with us and we headed into Vegas. I was in and out of my appointment (will do a pregnancy update post later!) then we hit up some stores. After much shopping Chris was just getting out of breifing so we decided to head over to the station and see him. The kids LOVE to see Daddy in uniform and in his popo car!

Trip to White Grandma's

A few weeks back I took all the kids up to Utah and Chris flew up after his work week. I was really nervous taking all the kids by myself on a 7 hour drive, but they were all SOO good! We drove to Filmore, went potty and grabbed some Burger King, then continued to Ogden. The kids love going to White Grandma's and playing with all her fun toys (that she gets at AWESOME bargains at DI and savers!). Anyway... we got there Wednesday afternoon and the kids helped Grandma plant some flowers then headed to bed.
On Thursday I pretty much just sat around while the kids enjoyed playing.. oh and we did make a trip to DI and I got an awesome toy for Kissy to ride on for $3 and a baby for Allie for $1, and it has brown eyes like her so she LOVES that baby!

Friday Aaron and Tenaya brought up their kids and left Anton and Brynja to spend the night with Davis and Allie. They of course had tons of fun exploring and playing with all the awesome toys!
On Saturday we pretty much just let the kids do their thing and they played and played! On Sunday first thing in the morning I loaded up Anton and Brynja and took them home and went to the SLC airport and picked up my hubs! I missed him tons and was SOOO excited to have him up their with us. Chris is such a good Daddy and helps me out A LOT with the kids. The kids of course wouldn't leave him alone and were constantly hanging onto him! It was hard on all of us to be away from him for that long, but we all still had fun!

Monday we all went to the mall and got a blessing dress for the new baby, then Grandma babysat the kids so Chris and I could go watch a movie. We watched The Killers, it was a cute movie.
