3 months old!

Today Christopher is 3 months old! He is getting SSOO big and chubby and i love it!! His talents so far are smiling, laughing, swatting at toys, and he tells very good stories!! He is such a good baby and has grown out of his milk and soy allergy!! YAY!!! He is pretty much sleeping thru the night.. goes to bed at around 9 and wakes up about 4:30 or 5... chugs a bottle then sleeps til about 8 or 9. So I really can't complain!

A Pirate Party!

Davis' 3rd birthday is on the 15th but Chris will be working so we decided to have his Pirate Party tonight! He LOVES pirates and HAD to have a pirate party! It was really fun to have him get so into all the party planning. the AWESOME pirate cake that i made!

too close to home....

As many of you probably already know, this morning at about 12:45 an LVMPD officer was killed in a car accident.. We didn't know the kid that died, but when an officer dies we can't help but think about Chris and even Nathan (bro-in-law) and all the risks that come with being an officer. It is a very risky career, but I am so grateful that there are people willing to risk their lives to help others... People always ask me, "how is it being married to a cop, isn't it scary?". I am so proud that my husband is brave enough to do what he does, but I do worry about him. I just try not to dwell on it and try to remember how many people he has helped out and that someones got do to it and he loves every minute of being a police officer.

Davis is probably the most proud kid i have ever seen! He LOVES the fact that Daddy and Uncle Nathan are "popo's"!! He is always "arresting" us and telling us to freeze and put our hands up!! One day Bobby (Nadja and Nathan's boy) and Davis were playing cops and kept arresting each other and taking each other to jail!

I am not looking forward to watching the cops funeral because 3 years ago when an officer was shot and killed on duty I bawled my eyes out... Im sure it won't be any different with this one! Anyway.. THANK YOU to all cops and a shout out to their wives!!

Sick Babies!

Davis and Allie have had really green boogers for like the past month. They kinda went away but Davis' came back pretty bad a few days ago. His eyes were all red and goopy so I figured he had pink eye. I decided it was time to take them to the doctor to get the pink eye under control and get rid of their boogery noses once and for all! Come to find out it's not pink eye, both of them just have pretty bad allergies and they both also have strep :(. Not fun! We had no idea that their throats even hurt! Davis usually lets us know exactly was bothering him! I guess they are both just tough kids! So we got lots of medicine to get them better and after 24 hours they wont be contagious anymore! So let's just hope that Christopher doesn't get it!

A little late!

So I know Easter was like forever ago, but I am just now getting to Easter pics! We did our egg hunt and baskets on the Thursday after because Chris had to work and he wanted to be there to witness all the excitment! Davis is really at a fun age where he understands everything and gets really excited about stuff!! Allie just gets excited because Davis does! They are so much fun! Oh and Christopher pretty much sleeps thru everything! Here are some pics of the big day!

2 months!

Baby Christopher is already 2 months old! I just can't believe how fast time goes! He is getting bigger and more active and smiley everyday.



We haven't celebrated Easter yet because Chris had to work and he didn't want to miss all the excitement so we are gonna have an Easter egg hunt and do the baskets on Wednesday. I will post pics soon after!

this year davis and allie really enjoyed the fair! they got to go on rides 2 days and see all the cute animals. it was a lot of fun but i am glad it's over!
