Motorcycle Academy Graduation
Today we packed up the kids and went into Vegas for Chris' graduation from motor school. He will be going to traffic here in the next couple weeks! He is very excited and I try to be supportive!! Kinda scares me, but it's something he has always wanted to do! The motor school is a very hard training program and we are very proud of him for graduating!

Our New Addition!!
As most of you may know by now we had our baby!! He was born on February 13th. I was induced at 12:15 am and shortly after started to have very hard regular contractions. so I decided it was time for my epidural. they got the epidural in and my right leg was getting good a numb.... but the rest of me wasn't! we called the nurse back in and told her that my left side wasn't numb at all, so she called in the anesthesiologist and he put more medicine in the thing and said "that should work!". so after about another 30 minutes and A LOT of pain we called the nurse back in and told her i was still feeling a lot of pain. so in comes the anesthesiologist to put more medicine in the thing and the nurse said if it didn't work this time then they might just have to take the whole thing out and start over! after about 10 minutes i realized that it STILL wasn't working and I was having TONS of pain. So again we called the nurse in she had the anesthesiologist come and and he replaced the epidural, giving me a lot of the good stuff! So the only thing I had my epidural for was the actual delivery. i felt all the wonderful transition contractions and thought i was gonna die! So when i got the new epidural i was dilated to a 8. The nurse left for a few minutes and just decided to come in and see if I felt like I needed to push at all. I told her that i was so numb i didn't feel anything at all!! So she decided just to check me to see if anything had changed... much to her (and ours) surprise his head was right there ready to come out!! so she called the doctor and told me not to even laugh because then she would have to deliver the baby! A few minutes later my doctor came and without really even having to push his head came out with the cord wrapped REALLY tight 2 times around his neck. My doctor said usually you can just slip it over the babies head but it was just too tight.. Anyway.. he got the cord off and the baby was all sorts of alert. just looking around the second his head came out!! So all in all... it was painful, but worth it! He weighed 7lbs 7 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long at exactly 7 am. Oh and his name is Christopher Grant Kohntopp!!

3D Baby pics!
On Dec 23rd i got a 3D ultrasound! It's always fun to get that done and compare when the baby is born! This time tho i waited to long and the babies head is REALLY far down so it was hard to get any good pictures of his face. He had his hands, feet and the cord right there by his face too so that didn't make it any easier! I dont have a scanner yet for my laptop and the scanner on our other computer isn't working so i just tried to take pics of the pictures with the webcam!! hopefully you can at least kinda tell what you're looking at!
